Who We Are
Belmont Church is a God-led, people-focused church located in the heart of Belmont in east Dayton, Ohio which exists to make new and growing disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community and beyond.
The church is very active in the community. We currently have a food pantry, a partnership with local schools, and host NA . We are also available for weddings and rentals for birthdays, graduations parties, and other community events. In our building, all people are welcome. We strive to show radical hospitality to everyone who walks through our doors. We have an active Pickleball Group, every Wednesday night.
For many years, the church has been a vital part of the Belmont community. The church was founded in 1902 when the surrounding area was still young. When the area started rapidly growing, some residents were concerned that there was no church. After going door-to-door and hearing there was interest in starting a church, a new church was formed. In 1904 the church stepped out in faith and was officially organized with 32 members. Fast forward only ten years later and there were 150 people attending weekly services!
Throughout its history our church has grown in membership and mission to become the church we are now. Today Belmont offers individuals and families a place to grow in their faith through a variety of worship services, Bible studies, and discipleship opportunities.
