Praise Team: drums, guitars and singers lead by our Worship Leader/Music Director

"Dearest church family, since I cannot give you the gift of music in the usual fashion, I thought I might share something different with you. As many of you know, I've been working towards becoming a board certified music therapist. To do this means I had learned to sing and play guitar! Here's a sample of my newly acquired skills just for you. I miss seeing all of you so much. It was heart-breaking to play for an empty church on Sunday. I know many of you can connect digitally. I know we are also doing this to protect our most vulnerable and keep our hospitals from being overwhelmed. May you all stay safe until we can see each other in person again! I played this hymn while thinking about all of you. I hope it brings you some much needed peace."

We have a proud history of high-quality music at Belmont UMC.

We currently have Chancel choir that sings in our Sunday morning worships services from September through May. The choir often puts on a special cantata at Christmas or Easter and sometimes participates in joint cantatas or concert with other churches. Choir practice is on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to our choir, we also have a praise band that helps to lead worship music.
We are always looking for more musicians and singers. If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to get involved. Our Music Director, John-Phillip Fultz, would love to talk with you!
